P1--Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park (Primary Race Day
Parking FOR MARATHONERS) Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll
plaza (you are on Hwy. 36.) Continue on Hwy. 36 (becomes Joline) straight to
the Park entrance in Long Branch. The Start/Finish Area is located on the
Ocean Promenade about 1/2 mile directly South of the Park.
P2—Large Dirt Lot In Front of Ocean Place Resort & Spa, One Ocean Blvd.,
Long Branch 07740, (Primary Race Day Parking FOR HALF MARATHONERS.) DO NOT
PARK IN THE PAVED HOTEL LOT. IT IS RESTRICTED TO HOTEL GUESTS ONLY, AND
THERE IS A FEE. Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll
plaza onto Hwy. 36. Take Hwy. 36 to Broadway, Long Branch. (7th light.) Turn
right and follow Broadway to end (Ocean Blvd.) Cross Ocean Blvd. to enter
parking. The Start/Finish Area is located on the Ocean Promenade behind the
hotel. NOTE: After 7am, you must use this alternate route: Garden State Parkway
North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll plaza (you are on
Hwy. 36.) Continue on Hwy. 36 (becomes Joline.) Turn right onto Ocean Blvd.;
go to Broadway; (3 lights, entrance to Ocean Place Resort.) Turn left to
parking area.
P3—Street Parking in Beachfront North (adjacent to the Start/Finish Area) Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll
plaza onto Hwy. 36. Take Hwy. 36 to Broadway, Long Branch. (7th light.) Turn
right and follow Broadway to end (Ocean Blvd.) Turn left onto Ocean Blvd.
and make the first right, which is Madison. Park in marked unrestricted
spaces only. THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA—PLEASE BEHAVE
ACCORDINGLY. NOTE: After 7am, you must use this alternate route: Garden State Parkway
North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll plaza (you are on
Hwy. 36.) Continue on Hwy. 36 (becomes Joline) to Ocean Blvd. Turn right
onto Ocean Blvd. Make a U-Turn at Broadway and make the first right, which
is Madison.
P4—Large Lot South of Pier Village (There is a $5 fee for this lot.) Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll
plaza onto Hwy. 36. Take Hwy. 36 to Broadway, Long Branch. (7th light.) Turn
right and follow Broadway to end (Ocean Blvd.) Turn right onto Ocean Blvd.
Turn left onto Morris. The Start/Finish Area is located on the Ocean
Promenade behind the Ocean Place Resort, a short walk North of the lot. NOTE: After 7am, you must use this alternate route: Garden State Parkway
North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll plaza (you are on
Hwy. 36.) Continue on Hwy. 36 (becomes Joline.) Turn right onto Ocean Blvd.
Turn left onto Morris.
P5 and P6--Downtown Long Branch Municipal Parking Lots (A short walk to
the Start/Finish Area.) Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll
plaza (you are on Hwy. 36.) Continue on Hwy. 36 (becomes Joline) to Rockwell
Ave. Turn right onto Rockwell. Turn left onto Union Ave. Lot P5 is located
between 3rd Ave. and Liberty St. To access Lot P6, take Union Ave. to
Liberty St. Turn right, cross Broadway and turn right into the lot behind
the buildings. The Start/Finish Area is located on the Ocean Promenade
behind the Ocean Place Resort about 1/2 mile East from these lots. From
either parking area, walk out to Broadway and straight toward the hotel.
Note that course runs along Broadway in the area of these parking lots (at
about miles 5/18), making them excellent for spectator parking.
P7—Pier Village Parking Deck (PV is just south of the Start. Fee;
recommended for spectators) Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll
plaza onto Hwy. 36. Take Hwy. 36 to Broadway, Long Branch. (7th light.) Turn
right onto Broadway. Turn right onto Ocean Blvd. Turn left onto Laird. Turn
right onto Landmark Place. Parking Deck is between Chelsea and Melrose
Terrace. NOTE: After 7am, you must use this alternate route: Garden State Parkway
North or South to Exit 105. Go straight out of the toll plaza (you are on
Hwy. 36.) Continue on Hwy. 36 (becomes Joline.) Turn right onto Ocean Blvd.
Turn left onto Laird. Turn right onto Landmark Place. Parking Deck is
between Chelsea and Melrose Terrace.
Runner Drop-off: Please use indent (red paving brick area) on Ocean
Blvd. just south of the Ocean Place Resort Hotel.
Per the Long Branch Police Department:
The following local Long Branch streets will be closed from approx. 7am to
Noon on 5/4. Expect traffic delays.
Patten Ave. (7:30-8:30am)
Atlantic from Long Branch Ave. to Florence
Broadway from Ocean Blvd. to Fifth
Second from Montgomery to Brighton
Brighton from Second to Ocean Blvd.
New Court
Second from New Court to Cedar
