Important Things for All Sunday Participants to Know
|
| Registration Alert for Athletes
who use Wheelchairs |
As in all of our previous
events, The New Jersey Marathon Festival welcomes athletes who use
wheelchairs to participate. Because our course is an exact 2 loops,
with the same start and finish lines, the half and full marathons create
an unsuitable situation for either pushrim or handcrank wheelchair
athletes who want to COMPETE (race) in these
events.
Accordingly, we welcome athletes who use wheelchairs to
COMPLETE our races, in order to, for example, "collect" the State of New
Jersey's race toward their 50 state goal.
If you are a wheelchair
athlete, before you register, we encourage you to contact the Race
Director, Art Castellano, either by phone, at: 732-578-1771, or by email
at:racedirector@njmarathon.org
to answer any questions regarding course suitability.
|
Registration -
You must have registered prior to race day for the Marathon, Half Marathon
and Marathon Relay. We expect that registration will be closed for
these races on or before mid April. Register Now.

Race Packet
Pickup - All Race Packets are available for pickup on both
Friday and Saturday, at the Expo.
Please
Note: While race packets must be picked up
during the Expo hourse, they do not need to be picked up
in-person. Here's the process: the person picking up
the race packet for another will be asked for identification and
to fill out a short form, which we will keep on file. That's
it! This simple process has worked well for many years and we will
continue it until further notice.
Please
Note: Normally there is no race packet pickup on race day, however
for a nominal donation to Bosco's Buddies, volunteers will
have your Race Packet ready for you at the Ocean Place
Resort and Spa, near the bag drop area, on Sunday morning. To make a reservation for this service you
must contact Bosco's Buddies at: www.boscosbuddies.org.
