Helping
charitable organizations to continue their important work, while doing
something that you already spend considerable time doing, is a great
way to derive even more enjoyment from you athletic endeavors. Why
not consider putting your time and energy to an even greater good, Run and
raise funds while doing it!
There are a
number of ways for individuals to become involved in raising funds for charities while
participating in one of our events. Here are a few:

the 2010 NJM / LBH Pledge Form and use it to
raise funds for the New Jersey Road Runners Youth Fund, Inc, and not
only help others, but help yourself at the same time (see Form for
details)!

There is a program for 501(c)3 charities to benefit from being involved with The New Jersey Marathon Festival. Among the benefits to a qualified Charity

Congenital muscular dystrophy
(CMD) is a group of diseases causing muscle weakness at birth. Several
defined genetic mutations cause muscles to break down faster than they can
repair or grow. A child with CMD may have various neurological or physical
impairments. Some children never gain the ability to walk, while others
lose the ability as they grow older.

Network, formerly known as Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties,
is a non-profit agency that provides education, therapeutic, social,
residential and support services for infants, children, and adults with
cerebral palsy and other multiple physical and developmental
disabilities.
LADACIN supporter, Joseph Walker, raised over
$100,000 by running in 4 NYC Marathons. Joseph is coordinating

Camp Abilities Camp Abilities PA is a developmental sports camp for children ages 7-17 who are blind or have low vision. The camp is located on the West Chester University campus. Held annually over Memorial Day weekend, this overnight camp experience introduces children to a variety of sports, including goalball, swimming, beep baseball, track and field, tandem biking, team building, and adventure-based activities. The purpose of the camp is to empower children to be physically active, improve athletes' overall health and wellness, encourage athletes to make food choices that support an active lifestyle, and develop athletes' confidence and self-esteem through sport and physical activity.
